cutest infestation ever
Everyone keeps talking about the stink bug invasion, and I have no idea what they mean. I feel really left out. Where are all my stink bugs???
In other news, we have an infestation of flies that come out of our bathroom sink. Not the drain, mind you, but the little overflow vent. You know what I mean? They're these little tiny gray flies that I have NEVER seen anywhere else in the entire world. It's like they're indigenous to our sink. I tried pouring bleach down the vent, but the little buggers remain unaffected.

You could have taken a stinkbug or two home unawares yesterday. Watch out - they are pretty annoying. Can't believe you didn't see them when you were cleaning the townhouse - they're everywhere.
How is the townhouse cleanout going anyway?
Townhouse is rented - they will be moving in at the end of October!!! A big thanks to you two lovely daughters - it was so nice to be able to show it as soon as we got home. Replaced fixtures in the outdated upstairs bathrooms. Will replace the basement slider and we are good to go.
Woohoo, congrats.
its better than bed bugs... educate yourself. its a real problem. 3 of my friends were infested and had to go through the whole process of bagging, boiling, and getting rid of furniture. and then gettin chemicals and stuff. i, myself, do not have them. i have, however, taken the precautionary measures... spray, covers, reading up on them and what they look like, etc. i'm the public health announcer on this. cuz even at my school i noticed the bites on the children! the nurse didn't believe me for a few weeks! but one glorious day... a packet on bedbugs was left in each teacher's box from the nurse to educated the kids and parents on bed bugs and bed bug solutions/prevention. one person CAN make a difference!
And if you really want to experience infestation - go to Harper's Ferry. After hiking (and swatting them out of our faces), we couldn't get into the car without bringing them in with us - tried but they found their way in anyway. And they hitchhiked on the outside of our car all the way to Columbia. I'm starting to REALLY not like they pests - definitely not cute.
