I was driving down St. Paul on my way to work the other morning. There were still feet-high snow banks on the sides of the streets, the air was frigid, and the sidewalks were icy.

To my right, on the street pavement, a white guy in a short-sleeved T-shirt was jogging...in BARE FEET. Several paces back, a black guy with a warm coat and a hat with the little ear flap things was walking behind him and just shaking his head.

I love north Baltimore.
